Prove in the model that interior rooms remain furnishable - before walls and openings lock in the use.
Starting point
- Without furniture in the model, it stays unclear whether rooms with the intended use can actually be furnished.
- Late conflicts with walls, doors, and circulation lead to rebuilds or unusable layouts.
Goal & benefit
- Maintain furniture as simplified bodies with real dimensions in the model.
- Check fit and circulation against room and building and document the verification.

- Place furniture schematically with real footprint and height.

- Verified furnishability as the planning basis - before the layout becomes binding.
Deliverables
- Architecture model with IfcProject, IfcSite, IfcBuilding, and IfcBuildingStorey
- Interior spaces as modelled IfcSpace volumes (PredefinedType=INTERNAL); LongName with use; NetFloorArea as size indication
- IfcFurniture with Name and PredefinedType (IFC4+) or IfcFurnishingElement with ObjectType (IFC2x3); schematic geometry with real footprint
