Reinforcement execution from model

CON-REINF-EXEC · General · Construction

Prepare reinforcement and edge strips from the formwork and reinforcement model for construction execution.

Starting point

  • Formwork and reinforcement information often exists only on drawings; layer-wise evaluation and steel schedules are labour-intensive.
  • Without agreed attributes and stages, filtering by reinforcement layer is unclear for the contractor and site.

Goal & benefit

  • Deliver the formwork and reinforcement model stage by stage as agreed with the contractor.
  • Make reinforcement filterable by layer and equip it with execution-relevant Allplan attributes.

Process

  1. Provide the formwork and reinforcement model per stage as agreed with the contractor.
  2. Capture reinforcement attributes (position, diameter, spacing, piece count, steel schedule number); control reinforcement layer via CAD layers.
  3. Use the model for layer-wise filtering, steel schedules, and execution export.

Outcome

  • A reinforcement model evaluable by stage and layer, including edge strips, for execution.

Deliverables

  • Reinforcement model with IfcReinforcingBar and property set AllplanAttributes
  • Attributes Bewehrungsposition, Bewehrungsdurchmesser, Teilung, Stückzahl, Stahllistennummer
  • Reinforcement layer via CAD layers (not as an attribute); reinforcement layer must be filterable
  • Edge strips (IfcBuildingElementProxy, ObjectType=Randstreifen) with attribute Randabschluss in pset 211.5_Beton_und_Stahlbetonarbeiten
