Create formwork and reinforcement plans
CON-SHL-BWP · General · Construction
Derive formwork and reinforcement plans for concrete execution from the structural model.
Starting point
- Site needs readable formwork and reinforcement plans; the model alone is not enough for dimensions, layers, and positions.
- Without drawings derived from the model, formwork and reinforcement stay unclear in execution.
Goal & benefit
- Derive formwork plans with dimensions and junctions and reinforcement plans with bars, layers, and positions from the model.
- Make the plans readable for site - complementary to layer-wise model evaluation for execution.
Process
- Provide the structural and reinforcement models with the current execution status.
- Derive formwork and reinforcement plans from the model.
- Check readability for site and release the plans.
Outcome
- Coordinated formwork and reinforcement plans as the basis for concrete execution.
Deliverables
- Formwork plans and reinforcement plans
- Structural model with IfcProject, IfcSite, IfcBuilding, and IfcBuildingStorey
- Concrete components IfcFooting, IfcWall, IfcSlab, IfcColumn, IfcBeam, IfcStair, and IfcRamp
- Reinforcement IfcReinforcingBar; edge strips (IfcBuildingElementProxy)
- No additional Allplan attributes - layer-wise evaluation remains reinforcement execution from model
