Manage and visualize tenant fit-out / base-building cost interfaces

BES-COST-INTERFACE · General · Ordering

Carry the cost bearer per component in the model (GAB vs MAB_{tenant}) and derive coloured plans and quantities for tendering from it.

Starting point

  • The cost interface between base building and tenant fit-out is often kept only in lists, drawings, or contracts - hard to align with the model.
  • Without a clear assignment per component, landlord and tenant quantities and positions mix in the tender.

Goal & benefit

  • Assign every architecture and MEP component to a cost bearer: base building or a named tenant fit-out.
  • Derive coloured plans, filters, and quantities by cost interface directly from the model.

Process

  1. Provide architecture and MEP components in the discipline model.
  2. Set CostInterface: GAB or MAB_{tenant name} (one value per component).
  3. Derive visualizations and quantities by cost interface from the model.

Outcome

  • Checkable cost interface per component as the basis for tender, quantities, and visualization of base building and tenant fit-out.

Deliverables

  • Architecture and MEP models with the modelled components
  • CostInterface (ePset_Cost): GAB or MAB_{tenant name} (e.g. MAB_Migros)
