Visualize award interfaces
BES-AWARD-INTERFACE · General · Ordering
Carry award packages per component in the model and colour them - forgotten parts at contractor interfaces become visible.
Starting point
- Errors happen at the interfaces between contractor packages; components without a package assignment are easily lost in the tender.
- Lists and specifications make gaps at award interfaces hard to see.
Goal & benefit
- Assign every architecture and MEP component to a BKP award package.
- Coloured plans make missing assignments and overlaps at the interfaces visible.
Process
- Provide architecture and MEP components in the discipline model.
- Set AwardInterface to the three-digit BKP code of the contractor package.
- Derive visualization by award package and check for gaps.
Outcome
- Visible award interfaces; missing or duplicate package assignments are detectable before they enter the tender.
Deliverables
- Architecture and MEP models with the modelled components
- AwardInterface (ePset_Cost) with three-digit BKP code, e.g.
