Pipe (schematic)

MEP-SCH-PIPE

Schematic pipe for early coordination - medium in Reference.

Description

  • Simplified segment or volume for main routes (heating, cooling, water, wastewater, etc.).
  • Used for feasibility and clash checking, not for execution planning.

Modelling guidelines

  • Model as a volume or simplified segment; cross-section according to the sketch concept.
  • Set the medium in Reference (e.g. HZ, KZ, TW, AW, FL).
  • Do not model fittings, control valves, or connection details.

Attributes

Name Description Unit
Reference

Pset_PipeSegmentTypeCommon

Medium of the schematic pipe.

Allowed values

  • HZ - heating
  • VL-H - heating flow (supply)
  • RL-H - heating return
  • KZ - cooling
  • VL-K - cooling flow (supply)
  • RL-K - cooling return
  • TW - drinking water
  • FW - fresh water
  • AW - wastewater (sanitary)
  • WW - wastewater (alternate code)
  • ENT - drainage (building)
  • FL - downpipe (rainwater)
GrossCrossSectionArea

Qto_PipeSegmentBaseQuantities

Cross-sectional area of the modelled schematic pipe.

Status

Pset_PipeSegmentTypeCommon

Element status for coordination on existing buildings.

Allowed values

  • NEW - new
  • EXISTING - existing
  • DEMOLISH - to demolish
  • TEMPORARY - temporary
ElementStatus

ePset_ElementStatus

Element status for coordination on existing buildings.

Allowed values

  • NEW - new
  • EXISTING - existing
  • DEMOLISH - to demolish
  • TEMPORARY - temporary

Note

  • IFC2x3 substitute for Status.
CostInterface

ePset_Cost

Cost interface of the component - base building or tenant fit-out.

Allowed values

  • GAB - base building (client / landlord)
  • MAB_{Mietername} - tenant fit-out, e.g. MAB_Migros
AwardInterface

ePset_Cost

Award package of the component by three-digit BKP code - so interfaces between contractor packages become visible.

Allowed values

  • See value list BKP award package - e.g. 211, 221, 244.
PlanningInterface

ePset_Cost

Planning interface of the component by three-digit BKP code - so responsibilities between planning disciplines become visible.

Allowed values

  • See value list BKP planning package - e.g. 091, 092, 094.
BelowTerrain

ePset_Cost

Marks whether the component is below terrain.

Allowed values

  • TRUE - below terrain
  • FALSE - above terrain
EbkpH

ePset_Cost

eBKP-H classification according to SN 506 511 - derivable from element type, medium, and BelowTerrain.

Allowed values

  • D05.04 - heat distribution
  • D06.04 - cold distribution
  • D08.04 - water distribution
  • D09.01 - wastewater disposal
  • D10.04 - gas distribution
